DESCRIPTION:Now you can see San Francisco's most passionate songwriters break from
their glamorous nightclub appearances, and unveil their hearts and souls,
live and unplugged, in an intimate acoustic gathering. On Friday, Jan 21,
the amazing Freddy Clarke, Gary Rosenberg, and Justice will perform
original songs in an intimate "round robin" atmosphere. There will be a few
open slots for other songwriters, so come early to sign up. A student of
Rey de la Torre and Narcisco Yepes, Freddy Clarke plays classical and
flamenco guitar with a world fusion band. His song titles include: "Homo",
"Birthday Suit", "Wobbly World", "My Phone Never Rings And It's Always
You", and "If She's Not Late She's Not Coming". Gary Rosenberg has toured
Eastern Europe with the Westwind International Folk Ensemble, and his
guitar work can be heard on Maheah Uchiama's first album. Among his musical
influences are Jim Croce, Pete Seager, Joni Mitchell, Ray Charles, and Cat
Stevens. An award-winning composer, Justice writes soulful songs that
merge the worlds of Andrew Lloyd Weber, early Billy Joel, and Five For
Fighting. He inspires fans with rabble-rousing anthems and endears them
with story songs about love, fear, and courage. You can hear the
songwriters' music by visiting their respective web pages at:
 http://www.freddyclarke.com http://www.garyrosenberg.com
http://www.cdbaby.com/trevorlevine (Justice) Doors: 7:30pm. The show is
from 8:00 - 10:30pm at the Spiral Muse Home Of Well Being, 3387 - 22nd
Street (near Guerrero) in San Francisco. Admission is $10 at the door,
but you can get a 2-for-1 deal by making reservations 48 hours in advance.
Just fill out the form at http://www.acousticsongwriters.com. NOTE:
Parking can be a challenge at this time on Friday night. There's a parking
garage on 21st Street just east of Valencia. However, as more people show
up for nightlife, it sometimes fills up. Your best bet is to carpool,
arrive around 6:30 or 7:00 (when parking will be easier), and enjoy one of
the many great restaurants in this neighborhood. \n
