 the Revolution” A radical film series at:  El Rio (3158 Mission St. at 
 Cesar Chavez, SF)  Please join us for Tuesdays of radical films, 
 discussions, and support local organizing while we're at it! Each film will 
 benefit a different local organization, but donations are appreciated, not 
 required. Our future feature in November will benefit the St. Peters 
 Housing Committee. We'll be showing…  BOOM! The Sound of Eviction  
 Tuesday, November 30th, 8pm  This documentary takes stock of the dot-com 
 boom and bust and asks  the question - Who benefited? Boom delves into the 
 ironies and contradictions of the "New Economy" and delivers a potent 
 social critique that is ambitious in its scope while remaining close to the 
 human scale. Boom features interviews  with dot-com workers, real estate 
 developers, and San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, as well as those who 
 challenged the new economic order through community organizing, electoral

 DESALOJO  MARTES, NOVIEMBRE 30, 2004, 8PM  Este documento historico 
 presenta el impacto que tuvo la explosión cibernética en San Francisco 
 enfocándose en el Distrito Latino de la Misíon,  y pregunta- ¿A quien 
 beneficio? “Boom” examina  las contradicciones de la “Nueva 
 Economía”, y da un crítica social  fuerte: aunque es ambiciosa en su 
 visión, se acerca a la realidad humana. “Boom” contiene entrevistas 
 con trabajadores de las cibernéticas, negociantes de bienes raices, 
 ex-Alcalde de San Francisco (Willie Brown), y con muchas personas  y grupos 
 quienes enfrentaron el nuevo orden económico por medio de la organización 
 comunitaria, esfuerzos electorales, y acción directa.     ¡No se la
