DESCRIPTION:Native American Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier is the Peace and Freedom
Party candidate for President of these United Snakes. Peltier was a leader
of the American Indian Movement (AIM). In the mid-1970's, he was framed up
for the "murder" of two FBI agents who invaded an ecampment of AIM
supporters on the Pine Ridge reservation, where dozens of their comrades
had already been killed by supporters of the pro-government Tribal Council
working with the FBI. Peltier himself was clearly not involved in killing
the two agents. In fact, two other AIM members who were involved were
acquitted on grounds of self-defense in an earlier, fairer trial! A vote
for this courageous fighter, who has been in Federal Prison as a result of
this FBI frame-up for almost 30 years, is a vote against the AmeriKKKan
ruling class and its repressive "justice" system. - Aaron Aarons P.S.
I'm also running for office, though in the KPFA Local Station Board (LSB)
election, not in the government's charade. (See
http://kpfa.aarons.fastmail.fm.) My chances of getting elected are
substantially greater than those of brother Peltier, though still not very
great. However, thanks to the super-democratic system of preferential
voting in the KPFA election, a vote for a candidate who doesn't win isn't
wasted. It just gets transferred to your next choice! (I urge every
listener-subscriber to KPFA to vote in the LSB election. You must have been
a subscriber by August 31. You must get your ballot back to the station by
November 15. If you haven't received it in the mail by next week you should
 call the station.) http://kpfa.aarons.fastmail.fm \n
