DESCRIPTION:$5-$10, no one turned away for lack funds  Presenters: Erica Kay and John 
 Reese with the Stop the Wall tour will speak on the environmental effects, 
 especially water, of the occupation and the Wall. Lisa Nessan with ISM and 
 a freelance journalist with the Alternative Information Center and Amir 
 Terkel, an Israeli refusnik and peace activist will both speak about their 
 recent experiences in Palestine/Israel and what we can do to resist 
 Israel’s illegal Wall.  Endorsed by: Break the Silence Mural Project, 
 Global Exchange, Jewish Voice for Peace, Jews for a Free Palestine, 
 Students for Justice in Palestine, QUIT! (Queers Undermining Israeli 
 Terrorism)    Bios of speakers:  John Reese traveled in Palestine in 2002, 
 during which he worked with the International Solidarity Movement, the 
 Palestinian Hydrology Group and the Palestinian Environmental NGO’s 
 Network (PENGON).  Since his return he has toured over 70 cities giving 
 over 100 lectures in the US, Mexico and Ireland on the environmental 
 effects of the Israeli occupation.  In May 2004, he attempted to return to 
 Palestine and was declared a "security threat" by the Israeli Ministry of 
 Interior and denied entry into Israel.  He is now the Co-coordinator of the 
 to Stop the Wall Campaign - US.  He will speak on the environmental, 
 especially water, effects of the occupation and the Wall.  Erica Kay will 
 speak about the Stop the Wall tour, successes and lessons learned.  Lisa 
 Nessan volunteered with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM)  from 
 September-December 2002.  She worked as the on-location production manager 
 for an independent documentary film on the Apartheid Wall until March 2003 
 when she returned to the States. In August 2003, Lisa returned to Palestine 
 and has spent most of her time volunteering with ISM as co-coordinator of 
 the Olive Harvest Campaign and as a freelance journalist with the 
 Alternative Information Center.   Amir Turkl is an Israeli peace activist 
 and refusenik that has been involved with such organizations as Gush 
 Shalom, Ta'ayush, and Jewish Voice for Peace.  He moved to the US about 
 three years ago and works in video production.  Amir recently returned from 
 a trip to Israel/Palestine in which he took footage of the Wall.\n
