DESCRIPTION:Councilmember Nancy Nadel is sponsoring this special screening of "Voice of 
 Dissent". This new documentary featuring Barbara Lee, Daniel Ellsberg, Will 
 Durst, Martin Sheen, Al Frenken, Woody Harrelson, Arriana Huffiington and 
 others inspires us to speak out, vote and actively protect our heritage of 
 democracy before we lose it. It will be preceded by a reception in the 
 theater catered by Chef Cricket Deetz of Spettro's Restauarant. Audience 
 members will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with some of those 
 featured in the film at the reception and during a discussion after the 
 screening. Meet councilmember Nadel, author and activist Starhawk, and the 
 director, Karil Daniels.  The gourmet reception will begin at the Grand 
 Lake Theater in Oakland at 6:30pm, followed by VOICES OF DISSENT at 7:30pm, 
 entertainment and panel discussion immediately following. Tickets are $15 
 general admission, $10 students and seniors. Copies of the film on VHS
