 Alcaraz will present his trademark gut-splitting multimedia talk about his 
 cartoons and politically themed animation at the Cartoon Art Museum on 
 Thursday, October 7, beginning at 7:00pm. This hilarious and insightful 
 presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the 
 artist and a book signing.  Lalo Alcaraz is appearing at the Cartoon Art 
 Museum to promote the release of his two latest books: Migra Mouse: 
 Political Cartoons on Immigration (RDV Books), an editorial cartoon 
 collection featuring a decade's overview on his iconic cartoons on the 
 controversial immigration issue; and La Cucaracha (Andrews McMeel 
 Publishing), the first collection from Lalo's highly satirical, 
 groundbreaking political daily comic strip which is syndicated by Universal 
 Press Syndicate.   The hardheaded son of Mexican immigrants, Los 
 Angeles-based Chicano artist and satirist Lalo Alcaraz has attracted 
 numerous honors and awards, media coverage, and bags of poisonous fan mail 
 for his powerful political cartoons demanding justice and fair treatment 
 for immigrants, Latinos and minorities.   Lalo's work can be seen in
