 Graffiti Coalition  For the People is a study into the global, contemporary 
 street art movement, celebrating the cause and freedom of limitless 
 artistic expression. This show will allow the community to share an 
 in-depth analysis of this culture's meaning(s), progression, and 
 digression. This will be a legal event with progress in mind and a 
 celebration for us, the people, and our local artists. We are trying to 
 independently reclaim the street art movement for the people.  Some 
 comfirmed artists:  swoon (ny), above (us), k2 (sf), Logan Hicks (USA), the 
 London Police (worldwide), Adam Neate (uk), microbo an bo 130 (it), 
 mackplakt (dl), ether (sf), chun1 (thailand), eskae (sf), Chris Stain (ny), 
 peat wollaeger (st. louis), Josh Macphee (Chicago), Amy Rice (minneapolis)  
 Opening Night will feature:  -art on the walls  - a collage wall  - a 
 flicks wall curated by the God Bless Graffiti Coalition  - live painting  - 
 a DIY stencil table  - crusty tunes by DJ jepift  - and MORE  Show comes 
 down Oct. 27  Live muraling over the Oct. 7 weekend around CELLspace  SF 
 Represent!  This event is an attempt to speak out against the Big Buff of 
 2003. Sales will benefit the upcoming street art documentary Negative 
 Spaces, and proceeds will also help pay legal feels for a group of local
