 HAMMER\n\nOne of our callings, as Earth Citizens, is surely to save the 
 remaining old growth forests of Northern California.  Redwood Mary, a 
 forest defender, and Hali Hammer, a singing activist, together are asking 
 us to help save the ancient trees in their true-talking, heart-felt words 
 and songs.  The Old Growth Tree Initiative of Northern California is an 
 historic statewide measure that will be submitted directly to California 
 voters in the November 2002 election if about 420,000 more Californians
