 Area police shootings, religious leaders, and community leaders.  The rally 
 and press conference is to stop the Double Tree Hotel from hosting a 
 conference by the CCGIA (Central Coast Gang Investigators Association) 
 September 7th-11th.  CCGIA is an association of law enforcement agents that 
 is led by Michael Walker and Brian Link (both are conference organizers and 
 on the Board of Directors).  Link and Walker are State Drug Agents who 
 killed Rudy Cardenas in a case of mistaken identity. Walker has recently 
 been indicted of voluntary manslaughter. Family members of Rudy Cardenas 
 and community leaders will also present the Double Tree management with a 
 letter demanding them to not host the CCGI Conference.  \n
