DESCRIPTION:Call to Action: Save Electric Vehicles from Being Crushed by Ford Motor 
 Company!  Zero-emission vehicles powered by solar panels? Sounds like a 
 great step towards ending our destructive dependence on oil and moving us 
 towards a more just, sustainable future, right? Many Bay Area residents 
 thought so and leased Ford Motor Company's most efficient car ever: the 
 all-electric, super efficient "TH!NK City". However, now Ford has decided 
 that zero-emission vehicles are not viable, and Ford is confiscating the 
 TH!NKs and sending them to scrap yards to be dismantled.    While Ford 
 touts its environmental stewardship, the plans to destroy the TH!NKs 
 highlight Ford's utter lack of concern for true solutions to reduce local 
 air pollution and halt global climate change. Current TH!NK drivers, and a 
 Norwegian manufacturer of electric vehicles, want to purchase the TH!NKs. 
 Sadly, as of today Ford has refused all offers to keep the TH!NKs on the 
 road in either the U.S. or Norway; instead Ford plans consign the TH!NKs to 
 history.   We must act now to save these fossil-fuel-free vehicles before 
 they become part of the fossil record.   TAKE ACTION!	  WHEN: Monday, 
 August 23rd at Noon  WHAT: Funeral procession of TH!NKs and protest to stop
