DESCRIPTION:Every prisoner is a political prisoner. The festival celebrates the lives
and champions the struggles of prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families
and communities. The films cite the devastating impact of the prison
industrial complex and call for joining in the struggle for justice for
 all. Saturday, August 21st 11:30am to 9pm Sunday, August 22 11am to 6pm
Donations accepted at the door, no admittance fee. All proceeds go to
benefit a film project about direct action by MA student Natali Smith and
the Danielle Metz Legal Fund. Danielle Metz is a woman serving two life
sentences plus twenty years for refusing to make up information demanded of
her (she did not have the answers, but the police and the prosecutor did
not believe her) pertaining to her husbands dealings with drugs.
