Viva!USA works for positive change through grassroots activism. They
promote lifestyle changes that include moving to a veggie diet. They
investigations of factory farms to gather evidence of widespread animal
cruelty, then structure their campaigns around this evidence. Youth
outreach is a vital part of Viva!USA: their campaign materials are produced
largely for students and young activists. Their campaign materials are
popular across the nation--they are regularly inundated with requests for
their teen veggie packets as well as their booklet with tips for new
vegans, Vegan Basics. Viva!USA’s campaigns have resulted in nationwide
publicity for animals farmed for food. Their ongoing campaign against the
factory farming of ducks has resulted in astonishing successes. Their one
time adversary, Whole Foods Market, has made a dramatic and surprising
commitment not only to improve the conditions in which ducks are raised,
but also to demand stricter animal welfare guidelines from all its
suppliers of animal meat. In fact, the CEO of Whole Foods made a commitment
to animals that goes beyond what anyone could have expected by becoming
vegan himself! Visit their website at http://www.vivausa.org Viva!USA is
 a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization; all donations are tax-deductible and
greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate goods, please consider
 making a tax-deductible donation directly to Viva!USA's life-saving work
for the animals. For more information on BAAA email baaa@animail.com\n
