 Festival - May 29th, 11am -  11pm Stafford Lake Park, North Bay Area, 
 Novato  http://www.peacegathering.com  We invite peace supporters of all 
 ages and walks of life to join us for  the premier of  ”Promise for 
 Peace: The Interactive Peace Festival”  Just 25 miles North of SF, tucked 
 in the rolling hills of Marin County lies the serene Stafford Lake Park. 
 Here we will gather for a full day of networking and celebrating the 
 diverse resources of our growing global peace movement. This is a benefit 
 fundraiser for the Indigenous  Elders and Youth Peace Gathering.  Promise 
 for Peace will be a festival of interactive attractions featuring live 
 music, workshops, performance arts, indigenous speakers, arts and crafts, 
 tasty natural foods, renewable energy expos, healing arts, art  
 installations, circus performers, and presentations by peace and justice 
 organizations.  Live music on two stages with over 12 bands:  The Mix (an 
 all-star cast with Melvin Seals-Jerry Garcia Band and members  of Dark Star 
 Orchestra, Zero and Phix  Hamsa Lila (a live world trance experience)  
 Sasha Butterfly  Tina Malia  Shimshai  Company of Prophets  Reorchestra  
 The Garrin Benfield Band  JP Cutler Band  Shakina feat. Soul Rebel  Wendy 
 De Rosa  Hyim  Samantha Lee  DJ Dragonfly  Tom Slik  Aphrodesia  The 
 Original Intentions  and more.  Performance arts featuring the hottest 
 Bay-Area crews such:  The Mystic Family Circus  Tezkatlipoka Aztec Dance

 collaboration with A. Roberts of Guerrilla Gallery  Renewable energy demos 
 including solar-powered stage provided by Solar  Depot, bio-diesel VW Jetta 
 (GCC) and bio-diesel generator powered stage.  The Living Peace Village 
 with healing arts, tasty natural foods, fair-trade products, arts and 
 crafts, networking, voter registration and presentations by peace and
