 across from the World Bank between H and Pennsylvania.  Nearest Metro stops 
 are Farragut West (Orange Line) or Farragut North (Red Line).  WHY: To call 
 attention to the legacy of impoverishment associated with the forced 
 displacement of people from their homes by World Bank funded large-scale 
 infrastructure projects such as mines or dams. To demand that the Bank make 
 policy changes to ensure the rights of people adversely affected by Bank 
 lending practices.   SPEAKERS:  Smitu Kothari, Indian human rights 
 activist. Director of Lokayan, India, past recipient of Right Livelihood 
 Award.   Dickson Mundia, human rights lawyer from Zimbabwe whose family was 
 displaced by Kariba Dam.   Angana Chatterji, scholar-activist working with 
 indigenous rights and professor of anthropology at the California Institute 
 of Integral Studies.   Elias Diaz Pena, past recipient of Goldman 
 Environmental Prize.  He has helped local affected people file claims to 
 the World Bank inspection panel to challenge the Yacyreta Dam in Paraguay 
 and Argentina.   Dana Clark, human rights and environmental lawyer, 
 co-author and co-editor of a recent book about the World Bank Inspection
