DESCRIPTION:Don't miss Breast Cancer Action's 7th annual Town Meeting for activists. 
 With a theme of "Taking Care in a Toxic Time," this unique event will 
 feature acclaimed author Anne Lamott and stellar public health advocate Dr. 
 Sandra Hernandez of The San Francisco Foundation. The meeting will bring 
 together activists, educators, physicians and people from diverse 
 communities to learn about protecting ourselves in toxic times. Find out 
 how to take action toward eliminating our exposure to toxic chemicals and 
 protect public health. Workshop and discussion topics include: the politics 
 of breast cancer, questioning mammography, the cosmetics industry and 
 breast cancer, applying the precautionary principle to public health in 
 Oakland and beyond, and envisioning the breast cancer research revolution. 
 This event is free to all. Simultaneous interpretation in Cantonese and 
 Spanish will be available. Refreshments will be served. The Oakland Asian 
 Cultural Center is at 388 9th Street in downtown Oakland, close to12th
