   701 Mission Street at Third, San Francisco   Yerba Buena Center for the 
 Arts in association with the Museum of the African Diaspora invites you to 
 an Opening Night Party in celebration of Black President: The Art and 
 Legacy of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and Joseph Grigely: Ten Years of 
 Conversations.   This event features music by DJ Paul Heck from Red Hot + 
 RIOT, heavy Afro-beat by ALBINO!, featuring members of Fela Kuti, 
 Spearhead, Sonny Okosun, Hamsa Lila, Will Bernard & Motherbug and more! The 
 biographical documentary of the life of Fela Kuti, Fela Kuti: Music is the 
 Weapon, will be screened in the YBCA Screening Room.   Going on view in our 
 Galleries are Black President: The Art and Legacy of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, a 
 multimedia exhibition that explores the influence and artistic legacy of 
 the legendary Nigerian Afro-beat musician and Joseph Grigely:Ten Years of 
 Conversations, a survey of Grigely’s conversation pieces, audio works and 
 sculptural projects from the past ten years in addition to a newly 
 commissioned video by the acclaimed artist.   Admission is $10 in advance,
