DESCRIPTION:The Society of California Pioneers presents  First Thursday Lecture Series  
 Thursday evening, April 1st, hear Marguerite Sprague as she brings the 
 former boom town of Bodie back to life.  Ms. Sprague will take us back to 
 the time, when miners extracted several million dollars of gold from local 
 mines, and up to today where a once-thriving town stands empty its many 
 stories behind now-closed doors.   The evening will begin with a reception 
 at 5:30 with the lecture from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  The program is $5.  The 
 museum will stay open until 6 p.m. day of lecture.  Lecture Time:  6 - 7 pm 
  Museum Hours: Weds – Saturday, 10am– 4pm  General Admission $3;
