 Telegraph)  Oakland, CA      The U.S. Government backed the violent 
 overthrow of the Haiti's elected government and kidnapped President 
 Jean-Bertrand Aristide.  U.S. Marines now stand guard as thugs hunt down 
 Haitian activists.   Many fear for their lives.  They need our help to 
 continue their struggles for democracy and to lift the Haitian people out 
 of poverty.  This benefit will raise funds for an emergency relief fund 
 established by the Vanguard Foundation.     Live D.J., plus a special 
 performance by the band Modock     Food & Refreshments     Free Admission - 
 Donations will be solicited for the people of Haiti (bring your checkbook) 
 - No one turned away.     The Humanist Hall is wheelchair accessible.
