DESCRIPTION:Come hear a video presentation by Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African
People's Socialist Party and leader and founder of the Uhuru Movement
speaking on "If Jesus Were Alive Today, He'd be Organizing against US
Empire," an opposing view to Mel Gibson's version of Jesus in "The
Passion." Sponsored by the October March to Stop the War on the African
Community! - a campaign of the African People's Solidarity Committee. -
APSC. APSC works under the leadership of the African People's Socialist
Party to build a movement in the white community to defend the democratic
rights of African people. APSC raises resources for the work of the Uhuru
Movement as reparations, resources towards building a world-wide movement
for the liberation of Africa and African people. The work of ending the
war and occupation begins with the war inside the U.S. Iraq is in our
inner cities: death squads stalk every African community; displaced Mexican
people trying to cross a colonial border are attacked daily. The solution
to the world situation lies in supporting the right of African and all
oppressed people to national liberation and self-determination. \n
