DESCRIPTION:WAR TAX RESISTANCE  INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOPS:  More than half of our federal 
 income taxes are being used for war. If you want to stop war, the first 
 thing you need to do is stop paying for it. And it's easier than you might 
 think. More than one-third of U.S. "taxpayers" pay ZERO federal income tax 
 (I know it sounds incredible, but you can look it up: 37% of us pay 
 nothing, and no that number wasn't inflated by including children).  Learn 
 how to join those "lucky duckys" in the non-paying third who aren't paying 
 for Dubya's moonshots and marriage counsellors. There are many ways to go 
 about it: legal or illegal, safe or confrontational. Join us for these war 
 tax resistance workshops to find out more.  Topics will include:  = 
 Creative legal protests (yes, you can resist taxes legally!)  = Illegal 
 refusal to pay all or part of federal taxes and the     possible 
 consequences of this form of civil disobedience  = Redirecting resisted 
 taxes to local alternative funds and/or     community organizations  = 
 Local support networks for war tax resisters  Sunday February 8th.
