DESCRIPTION:Our world is changing. These are crucial times\nand the time to effect 
 positive change is now! \nHere at EBCC AmeriCorps, we provide alternatives 
 \nfor national service. Our AmeriCorps programs have\nbeen getting things 
 done in Oakland for over eight\nyears, and over a thousand members have 
 served the \nOakland community. We have community service positions\nas 
 literacy tutors in Oakland's public elementary and \nmiddle schools for 
 those interested in helping children \nrealize their full potentials. 
 Through the Environmental\nand Health & Garden teams we are helping build, 
 restore,\nand regenerate our environment.\n\nTake the first step, and come 
 join us at the first \nannual EBCC AmeriCorps Information Night at the 
 Oakland\nMain Library auditorium. Come one, come all!  There is \nwill be a 
 panel of dynamic speakers who will enlighten \nus with their experiences 
 and thoughts on AmeriCorps past,\npresent, and future. You will also have
