\nBerkeley Fellowship \n1924 Cedar at Bonita \nCome see this amazing film
if you missed it or come see it again! On \nApril 11, 2002, Irish
documentarians Kim Bartley and Donnacha O'Brian \nwere in Venezuela with
the intention of making a movie about the \nnation's left-leaning
president, Hugo Chavez. However the filmmakers \nfound themselves in the
midst of a coup d'etat as the right-wing \nopposition overthrew the leader.
Chavez was returned topower, but this \nfilm captures those frightening
days in which a nation's ppolitical \nfuture was fought over using bullets
and media manipulation. Learn what \nthe White House thought about the coup
in the world's fifth largest \nproducer of oil (providing 14% of the US'
petroleum). \n\nThe event will include an update from the local Venezuelan
Support \nGroup and a talk by noted historian and author Michael Parenti.
\n\nSponsored by Social Justice Committe of Berkeley Unitarian Fellowship
\nand Marin Interfaith Task Force on the Americas. Doors open 6pm for
 \nholiday gathering/ refreshments. \n\nFor more information contact: \n510
