 slim chapbook of erotic poetry, was\nbanned in 1965 in California. Three 
 booksellers,\nincluding two at City Lights, were arrested for\nselling it, 
 and were put on trial. The trial went all\nthe way to the state supreme 
 court, where the ban was\nupheld. It was later rescinded in 1974.\n\n'The 
 Love Book' is now back in print, after 35 years.\nIt is a 
 hand-letterpressed chapbook with hand-stitched\nbinding and a newly 
 designed 3-color cover.\n\nThe launch party will include a short 
 presentation and\nslide show by publisher Joe Pachinko.\n\nSnacks will be
