DESCRIPTION:Lake Merritt Neighbors Organized for Peace (LMNOP) invites you to join us 
 on a weekly peace walk around beautiful Lake Merritt in the heart of 
 Oakland.  We gather at 3 every Sunday afternoon at the east end of the 
 Lake.  (Directions above).  After brief announcements we walk leisurely and 
 relatively quietly, talking with each other & acknowledging the numerous 
 positive responses we get from people driving & walking by.  Many people 
 bring peace signs.  It's a beautiful location, a nice walk (about 3 miles), 
 & a good way to show your opposition to this horrible way.\n
