DESCRIPTION:Sundance Award winning Guerrilla News Network presents-\n\nAftermath
-Unanswered Questions from 9-11\nwill be screened followed by a panel
discussion with \nMichael Ruppert, Peter Dale Scott, Riva Enteen, moderated
by director Stephen Marshall, \nand dialogue with the public\nat 7:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2003, UC Berkeley, 155 Dwinelle Hall.\n\n On April
21st, 2003, Aftermath was shown at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco to a
full house (about 300 people were turned away) and received a standing
ovation. The film raises the elementary questions, that the mainstream
media, and the official “Independent Commission” have failed to ask,
about the “defining event” which the Bush Administration has used as a
launching pad for a war on the world, the Constitution, and the Bill of
Rights.\nThe Questions- \n\nTo what extent should airlines have been
prepared for 9/11? \nWhat did the Bush administration know and when? \nWhy
wasn’t the US military able to intercept the hijacked planes? \nHow did
the administration respond to the failures of the military and Intelligence
agencies on 9/11? \nWhat ties, if any, did the US government and
Intelligence agencies have with the terrorists or their supporters? \nWere
there plans for a war in central Asia prior to September 11? \nIs there an
underlying motive, besides the War on Terror, for the US military presence
in Central Asia? \nIs there any historical evidence to suggest that the
government may have used the 9/11 attacks to justify its war in Central
Asia? \n\nHow has the government\'s reaction to the terrorist attacks
affected the rule of law in the United States? \nHow has recent legislation
like the PATRIOT ACT and the Homeland Security bill affected the lives of
American people? \n\nWhat can we do?\n\n Narrated by Hip Hop legend,
Paris, Aftermath features: George Soros, (billionaire philanthropist), Mary
Schiavo (Aviation Disaster Attorney), Mike Ruppert (Publisher: From the
Wilderness), Nafeez Ahmed (Author: The War on Freedom), David McMichael
(former CIA analyst), Michel Chossudovsky (Author: War and Globalization),
Peter Dale Scott (Professor Emeritus, UC Berkeley, author of Drugs, Oil,
and War: The United States in Afghanistan, Colombia, and Indochina), Alex
Jones (Editor: Infowars.com), John Judge (Founder, C.O.P.A.), Riva Enteen
(Program Director, SF National Lawyer\'s Guild) \n\n The panel discussion
will especially focus on the attacks upon civil liberties. The public will
be invited to speak and raise their own questions.\n Suggested donation:
