DESCRIPTION:Lake Merritt Neighbors Organized for Peace(LMNOP) invites you to join us on 
 a weekly peace walk around beautiful Lake Merritt in the heart of Oakland. 
 We gather at 3:00 every Sunday at the east end of the Lake, described 
 above. After brief announcements, we walk leisurely and relatively quietly, 
 talking to each other, and waving to cars who honk in support. Many people 
 bring peace signs. We usually have 40-100 people come, except the day the 
 bombing started we had 200. We'd like to have that many and more every week 
 so please come and join us. It's a beautiful location, a nice walk (almost 
 3 miles) with like-minded folks, and an easy, pleasant way to show your 
 opposition to this horrible war.   \n\n
