 build\nsolidarity and confront the reality of war and empire?   This panel 
 brings\ntogether activists involved in local social struggles in various 
 regional\ncontexts -- from Pakistani and Kurdish activists facing the 
 crisis in the\nMiddle East to local and international peace and justice 
 workers addressing\nthe impact of the war on people of color here and 
 abroad, the assualt on the\nrights of Arabs and Muslims in the US, Native 
 American views on forced\nrelocation then and now, and more.  Join us for 
 an evening of discussion,\npoetry and dance.\n\nSpeakers and Performers 
 include: Marley Shebala-journalist for Navajo Times;\nSoraya 
 Serajeddini-Kurdish human rights activist; Lynn McMichaels-Iraqi\nPeace 
 Team; Silvia Sweidan-Jordanian activist; Phil Hutchings-co-founder 
 of\nInstitute for Multi-Racial Justice & member of Black Radical 
 Congress;\nZulfiqar Ahmad-Senior Program Officer for South Asia at 
 the\nNautilus Institute for Security and Sustainable Development; 
 Representative\nfrom War Tax Resistars; Poetry by Jasmine Manning - Ojibwe 
 from Ontario;\nPoetry by Caligraphy of Thought.\n\nSponsored by the East
