 benefit will go to PAWIS (Peoples Association of Workers and Immigrants) a 
 Filipino immigrant worker led and organized group that came together as a 
 result of post-9/11 immigrant scapegoating which led to the massive lay off 
 of Filipino airport screeners throughout the Bay Area.  PAWIS continues to 
 struggle for the rights and welfare of Filipino immigrant workers. \n
