 protests that shut down San Francisco from the Whispered Media compilation 
 Shutdown Downtown Fogtown (www.whisperedmedia.org)\n\nINDEPENDENT MEDIA 
 NETWORK is a new television series dedicated to showcasing alternative 
 news, underground film, and culture jamming. With the corporate media 
 monopoly continuing to grow, IMN is reclaiming a small space on the 
 airwaves for true alternative information and culture. Beginning with our 
 presence on San Francisco’s cable station Channel 29 every Tuesday night 
 at 10:00 pm, we are taking advantage of the network of thousands of public 
 access and cable access stations across the US and Canada, with the 
 potential to reach millions of prime time viewers, through syndication of 
 our program to community stations. Presently we are securing timeslots in 
 Los Angles, Portland, Seattle, Austin, Brooklyn, and many other cities and 
 towns and the list will continually grow. The program’s format is a half 
 hour mix of short films, alternative news, and PSA’s from artists 
 including GUERRILLA NEWS NETWORK, ADBUSTERS, EARTH FILMS, and many others
