 Colombian the AFL-CIO Solidarity Center also operates with funding from the

 the workers of Central and Latin America by the Trump government.

 "Solidarity Center" has received over $1 billion from the US government and 
 last year it was shutdown by Musk and DOGE. The Soldiarity Center director 
 Shawna Bader-Blau and the AFL-CIO president Liz Schuler  appealed to the 
 Trump government to continue to fund the operation because according to 
 them it was supporting US interests internationally and this year Trump and 
 the Republicans agreed to refund the National Endowment for Democracy NED 
 which funds the Solidarity Center with $71 million a year. \nAFL-CIO 
 president Liz Schuler was formerly on the board of the National Endowment 
 for Democracy NED which is funded directly by the US government.\nThe panel 
 sponsored by the Labor Education Project on AFL-CIO International 
 Operations LEPAIO focused on the history of the Solidarity Center and what 
 role it plays internationally and why the US Trump government continues to 
 fund it.\nIt also looks at the role of Labor Notes and their refusal to 
 allow any panels or discussion about the US supported AFL-CIO operations 
 and the AFL-CIO's acceptance of massive funding from the US
