DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for the fifth installment of Rebuilding Alliance's 
 'I Care About Peace' Series: Safeguard Khan Al Ahmar’s Right to 
 Remain\n\nThe Bedouin community of Khan Al Ahmar, along with several other 
 Bedouin villages, is faced with imminent forced displacement to make way 
 for Israel’s planned E1 settlement. The proposed settlement, along with 
 the associated roads and infrastructure, threatens to push over 3,700 
 Bedouins off of their land. \n\nKhan Al Ahmar,  located in what is known as 
 the “E1 Corridor”, just off the road outside of Jerusalem on the way to 
 the Dead Sea, has long been pressured to leave, but has remained steadfast 
 in their desire to remain on their land. The village is home to a 
 remarkable little school, built using tires, that has been an anchor for 
 the community. Now, schoolchildren are being harassed by nearby Israeli 
 settlers as they walk to school, and families face an uncertain future.   
 \n\nPlease join us to learn more about Khan Al Ahmar, hear from the youth 
 of the village, and learn about how you can engage Congress to press for 
 Khan Al Ahmar’s right to remain on their land.\n\nGuest Speakers

 International Peace Day, Rebuilding Alliance annually brings Palestinian 
 youth to Washington, DC to speak directly with members of Congress about 
 their hopes, experiences, and visions for peace. This year, with the U.S. 
 State Department no longer issuing visas to Palestinians, we are bringing 
 their voices to you. \n\nGiven the scale of the emergency facing 
 communities across Palestine— and the many stories that need to be 
 heard— we are launching a series of webinars leading up to International 
 Peace Day. Village by village, community by community, each installment 
 will highlight Palestinian youth, their visions for peace, and what you, as 
 a constituent, can do to help. \n\n
