DESCRIPTION:In July, more than 150 people gathered at the Marin County Civic Center to 
 follow in the footsteps of John Lewis, and to highlight the injustices 
 being done in our name – to voting rights, to immigrants, to those 
 struggling to make ends meet as Trump redistributes money to the oligarchs 
 and eliminates many of the safety nets that have been in place for 
 decades.\n\nWe’re taking Lewis’s words to heart and vow to “never, 
 ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary 
 trouble.”\n\nJoin us again at the Civic Center, this Sunday and the 
 second Sunday of every month. This high-visibility event will reach more 
 than 10,000 people attending the farmers market and the French Market. 
 We’ll be distributing action sheets to attendees and passersby, waving 
 signs, making music. Auntie Fah will be offering up baked goods – 
 donations gratefully accepted – to support the efforts of the Adopt A 
 Corner crews supporting the day laborers in Novato and San Rafael.\n\nWe 
 will have some signs available but encourage you to bring your own. \n
