DESCRIPTION:Navigating family law and divorce can be especially overwhelming to
navigate. You may have questions about your children, your safety, your
immigration status and the ability to support yourself. For people on

person can feel higher than the cost of staying silent.\n\nThe India
Community Center, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon
Valley (APABA SV), and the South Asian Bar Association of Northern
California (SABA-NC) are co-hosting a free virtual workshop with two
California attorneys who work with these issues directly.\n\nTopics
covered:\nCommon questions about divorce proceedings\nLegal protections and
options for survivors of domestic violence\nImmigration issues affecting
spouses on H-4 and other visas\nChild custody, visitation, and child and
spousal support\n\nAttendees may participate anonymously — camera off,
name hidden. Questions may also be submitted in advance through the
registration form and will be answered during the session, so no one has to
speak up on the call to get an answer. \n\nThis workshop is free and open
to the public. Please visit https://tinyurl.com/Navigating-Divorce to
register, learn how to attend the workshop anonymously, and anonymously
submit any specific questions you may have. \n
