DESCRIPTION:ICE out of Dublin Community Call \nWednesday, July 30, 6-7pm PT\n\nICE has 
 signaled serious interest in reopening the notorious FCI Dublin prison in 
 Dublin, CA as an immigration detention center. FCI Dublin was closed last 
 year due to powerful survivor-led organizing following years of horrific 
 staff sexual abuse, retaliation, and medical neglect. \n\nResearch has also 
 shown that areas with immigration detention centers are correlated with 
 higher rates of ICE activities and arrests. From 2018 to 2023, communities 
 and advocates closed three Northern California ICE detention 
 centers–making it safer for everyone in our communities. We must act to 
 block ICE from reopening a detention center here or anywhere.\n\nJoin the 
 ICE out of Dublin coalition to demand a permanent closure of FCI Dublin. 
 Learn more about the ICE out of Dublin campaign and how Bay Area 
 communities have taken action to protect immigrants from detention and 
 deportation. We will share information about trends and the current
