DESCRIPTION:Healthcare is all over the news these days, but the headlines can miss just 
 how personal this topic is to each of us. The American healthcare system is 
 working very well for corporations that are making billions in profits. But 
 for patients, healthcare is too often overpriced and 
 inaccessible.\n\nHealthcare in America is a system where corporations make 
 billions while the care it is supposed to provide is largely inaccessible 
 and overpriced.  Threats to Medicaid and Medicare are proposed to create 
 larger tax cuts for billionaires. As more and more folks are affected by 
 this cruel system the need for community to share and process has never 
 been more urgent.\n\nThese new cuts to Medicaid and Medicare are on the 
 table only to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. At a time when Trump and 
 Republicans in Congress are poised to cut $880 billion in Medicaid funding 
 and private insurance corporations siphon billions of dollars from 
 taxpayers via Medicare (dis)Advantage, we need all hands on deck to fight 
 for our healthcare. This is affecting all of us, and we need to talk about 
 it. \n\nJoin us online on March 16th at 1 PM PT for a community 
 conversation on healthcare justice with these speakers:\n\n--Dr. Donald 
 Moore from PNHP (Physicians for National Health Plan)\n\n--Jamila Headley
