DESCRIPTION:The terms “Zionism” and “anti-Zionism” have become battle cries in 
 the heated debate on the Palestine-Israel issue. One’s understanding, or 
 misunderstanding, of these terms affects whether we are talking with one 
 another or talking past one another. \n\nThis Salon will be the first in a 
 series of three to focus on Zionism and its impact on the conversation 
 about the Holy Land: 1) What’s in a Word? Defining Zionism, 2) Living 
 with Zionism: Israel, Palestine, and the U.S., 3) Zionism and 
 Anti-Semitism.\n\nThis first Salon will explore the history of Zionism - 
 its various definitions from both Jewish and Christian perspectives - to 
 provide a basis for meaningful conversation.\n\nWatch the film at your
