 celebrate and elevate the extraordinary work being done to tackle poverty 
 in our community. We envision it becoming a signature event for Sunday 
 Friends, fostering awareness and inspiring action towards a brighter 
 future.\n\nThe afternoon begins with a keynote address by award-winning 
 educator Dr. Scott Myers-Lipton, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at San 
 Jose State University, who will share highlights from SJSU's Human Rights 
 Institute's 2024 Silicon Valley Pain Index. \n\nThe  "Inside Poverty" Panel 
 discussion aims to bring together a cross-sector multi-disciplinary panel 
 of experts to delve into the root causes and lasting effects of poverty, 
 while highlighting innovative solutions and best practices in social 
 change. \n\nThe panel will be followed by the presentation of the Silicon 
 Valley Kindness Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions from 
 individuals and organizations dedicated to helping families overcome 
 poverty. \n\nKeynote Speaker: \nDr. Scott Myers-Lipton, Professor Emeritus 
 of Sociology at San Jose State University, SJSU's Human Rights Institute's 
 2024 Silicon Valley Pain Index (5 Years In - Inequality Worsens, Part of 
 Structure)\n\nKeynote Topic: Hear about the state of Silicon Valley and
