 Democratic National Committee and co-founder of Muslim Delegates and Allies 
 Coalition. \n\nIn 2023, Ahmad was part of the Global Coalition of civil 
 society organizations, Indigenous Peoples, social movements and local 
 communities for the universal recognition of the right to a clean, healthy 
 and sustainable environment, which consisted of over 1,350 organizations 
 and other entities from 75 countries, that was awarded the United Nations 
 Human Rights Prize for Advocacy in Environmental Rights, a testament to her 
 impactful work in legal and environmental justice.\n
