Join us online on Thursday, November 16th at 5:30pm PST for a program that includes a mini teach-in about the history of colonialism, occupation, antimilitarism, and joint struggle efforts in Asia and in the Pacific; speaker reflections from community organizers and thought leaders; and a call to action to pressure our congressional representatives to #CeaseFireNow.\n\nIn addition to the need for joint struggle and solidarity as we mobilize in our calls for a #CeaseFireNow and an end to the occupation, we're hearing and feeling the need from our communities to ground in political education. We start this series with hearing from Asian American voices (South, East, Southeast, and West Asian) and Pacific Islanders about how their own histories of occupation, genocide, war, colonization, and resistance shape their own commitment to solidarity with Palestine.\n\nWe welcome any organizations and community members who are wanting to learn and/or invite their family members, youth, elders, friends, and colleagues to a space where community stories and joint struggle education can be made more accessible.
