DESCRIPTION:Get hands-on with the garden educators from Garden School Foundation. This 
 July, explore the native birds and seasonal berries. Birds lend a helping 
 hand to plants by helping spread their seeds. For this workshop, build a 
 birdhouse, make a bird sculpture out of forest putty and find out the type 
 of berries birds help to grow.  \n\nThe Garden School Foundation is 
 responsible for the teaching gardens at the 24th Street School in West 
 Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, along with six additional Title 1 
 elementary schools across the city.\n\nThis event is free, however, 
 reservations are recommended. \nRSVP for Summer Saturdays is not required 
 but recommended.\n\n
