DESCRIPTION:American exceptionalism is predicated chiefly upon the peculiarities of
land . . . land is a gift of nature, not a creation of human beings; and
land was available in great quantity to Euro-Americans blithely indifferent
to Native Peoples' occupation of the Americas.\n\nJoin a roundtable
discussion of how to retake the land of the USA for all residents of the
territory poetically known as Turtle Island.\n\nThe 4th of July,
Independence Day, is a dismal sleight of mind if the land question is not
considered in all its robust relevance to liberty. In the absence of
equality of access to the social and economic power of place, what
possibility can there be for individualism when one party must pay another
party for mere "right" to use the Earth?\n\nIgnoring the land question,
which is to say, dismissing land as but a species of capital rather than as
a gift of nature to all, is a weak excuse for existential contempt of
others.\n\nThose attending live must RSVP (see above Contact information).
 Supper will follow discussion.\n
