DESCRIPTION:Closing out this month of Other Cinema in-person pop-ups, here’s a hybrid 
 livestream/embodied benefit for this plucky East Bay microcinema, with live 
 film performances by Ellie Vanderlip, using 6(!) projectors to tell of her 
 grandmother’s internment in the open spaces of the Sierra Nevada.  Kit 
 Young and Lori Varga also appear in the flesh with a 15-min. set of bawdy 
 expanded cinema and howling volumes. The live acts are sandwiched within an 
 hour of experimental animation, featuring three new works from Kathleen 
 Quillian herself, a co-director of Shapeshifters, and brief beauties from 
 Barney Google, John Knecht, Martha Colburn, Sally Cruikshank, Salise 
 Hughes, George Melies, and Ray Harryhausen. Note, earlier 7:30PM start,
