Instead it may disappear for decades in storage.\n\nThe drive by developers who apparently control the agenda of UC is not only an issue at UCSF but at UCB where University executives want to destroy People’s Park and also destroy historic buildings in Berkeley. \n\nAre developer interests being put ahead of protecting priceless art, parks and historic buildings?\n\nAt the press conference, speakers will discuss the importance of properly protecting the mural, why University executives would propose the destruction of such a historic WPA art treasure and what supporters of the murals can do to make sure they are protected, preserved and presented for the UCSF students, faculty, staff and the people of California.
