DESCRIPTION:NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY\n\nCelebrated on the fourth Tuesday of 
 September, National Voter Registration Day \nwill be taking place on 
 September 22, 2020. \n\nNational Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan 
 civic holiday celebrating our democracy. \nFirst observed in 2012, it has 
 quickly gained momentum ever since. Nearly 3 million voters have registered 
 to vote on the holiday to date. \n\nEvery year millions of Americans find 
 themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, 
 don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. 
 \nNational Voter Registration Day wants to make sure everyone has the 
 opportunity to vote. \n\nOn Tuesday September 22, 2020 volunteers and 
 organizations from all over the country \nwill “hit the streets” in a 
 single day of coordinated field, technology and media efforts. \nNational 
 Voter Registration Day seeks to create broad awareness of voter 
 registration opportunities to reach tens of thousands of voters who may not 
 register

 CAN REGISTER TO VOTE IN CALIFORNIA?\n\nAll Registered Voters Can Vote in a 
 Primary or General Election\n\nTo register to vote in California, you must 
 be:\n\n--A United States citizen and a resident of California\n--18 years 
 old or older on Election Day\n--Not currently in state or federal prison or 
 on parole for the conviction of a felony (for more information on the 
 rights of people who have been incarcerated, please see the Secretary of 
 State's Voting Rights: Persons with a Criminal History), and\n--Not 
 currently found mentally incompetent to vote by a court (for more 
 information, please see Voting Rights: Persons Subject to
