 Strike! \n\nSeptember 20-27, 2019 has been declared Global Climate Strike 
 week with climate change actions happening across the nation and around the 
 world. \n\nThe planet, and the future generations of all living species 
 depend on us making a change NOW! Let us make our voices heard and demand a 
 change to the status quo which has slowly (now more rapidly) been killing 
 this beautiful planet and the creatures living on it.\n\nHOST: Peninsula 
 Peace & Justice Center (located in Palo Alto) \n\nWe have long been the 
 local area’s leading grassroots voice for peace, justice and human 
 rights.  We believe democracy occurs every day – when people actively 
 participate in the great decisions facing our country and world. When times 
 call for it, we organize demonstrations (including the largest peace 
 demonstration in the history of the Peninsula), petition campaigns, and 
 vigils. We sponsor Congressional call-in days and meet with our elected 
 representatives. In other words, we use all the tools in the grassroots
