DESCRIPTION:Join Climate Justice, Environmental Justice, and Environmentalist activists 
 in a noon-hour protest at ICE headquarters on Monday, August 5.  This 
 protest is part of a "Month of Momentum: #CloseTheCamps" campaign to 
 demonstrate broad opposition to the administration’s brutal treatment of 
 immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.\n\nWHEN: Monday, August 5, noon 
 to 1 p.m.\n\nWHERE: ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) office, 630 
 Sansome Street, San Francisco [map: https://tinyurl.com/yymt7oeo]\n\nWHY: 
 We are outraged and ashamed about the inhumanity at the border.  We want to 
 show up as environmental activists in solidarity with other progressive, 
 issue-focused groups in opposition to the brutally corrosive policies and 
 politics of the current administration.  \n\nMany people around the world 
 are fleeing their homes because of war, gang violence, poverty—and 
 increasingly, people are becoming climate refugees, moving because their 
 homes are becoming unlivable due to climate change (sea level rise, 
 desertification, extreme heat, fires, etc.).\n\nDETAILS: Bring a sign or an 
 idea for a sign linking the climate crisis to the immigrant crisis.  We 
 will chant, sing, and walk in front of the ICE headquarters during the 
 lunch hour.\n\nThis is an opportunity to contribute to strengthen social 
 justice movements across a range of too-often-siloed issues and to 
 contribute to strengthening the broad progressive movement that is 
 necessary to counter rabid nationalism, racism, and greed at the rotten 
 heart of forces aiming to destroy Earth for its current and future
