DESCRIPTION:The California Homeless Union Salinas Chapter in Solidarity with the Santa 
 Cruz Chapter invite you to support the unhoused community of Salinas. The 
 Unhoused Community of Salinas is currently seeking a TRO (Restraining 
 Order) to stop the city of Salinas from enforcing an ordinance that makes 
 it illegal for the unhoused community to sleep in any park, or any 
 Recreation Area in the city of Salinas. This specifically impacts many 
 people who have been living in the Sherwood Park area, including  disabled, 
 and Veteran's .The city of Salinas has essentially said that people can 
 sleep on the sidewalk, but that would  leave them even without a tent, or 
 they'd be breaking another ordinance. This has to stop, just like Santa 
 Cruz the city of Salinas lacks adequate available shelter. Harm has already 
 happened, if the TRO is not granted more harm will happen. We are fighting 
 for justice and change.\n
