DESCRIPTION:Don't miss the 1st nationwide actions opposing 5G (the planned "5th 
 Generation" telecom roll out of close proximity cell antennas irradiating 
 every neighborhood.)\nWe'll have a megaphone and literature for passersby.  
 Please bring a sign and an umbrella or poncho.  We'll be there rain or 
 shine.  \nWe don't want to block the entrance or sidewalk, so if there are 
 many of us, we'll form a walking picket line.\nFrom Americans for 
 Responsible Technology, national organizers of 5/15: please be respectful 
 of our reasonable messaging and help us prevent wireless companies (or 
 their friends in the media) from portraying us as “fringe” or the 
 “tin foil hat” brigade. (Scroll to bottom for more on that.) \n\nWe're 
 trying to get an emergency ordinance  in Berkeley, and we're calling on 
 wireless companies to suspend deployment of so-called "small" cell wireless 
 antennas near homes, apartments, schools, etc. until 24/7 exposure to 5G 
 radio-frequency microwave radiation can be proven safe (never!)\n\nOur 
 PURPOSE tomorrow is to raise public awareness and to place the burden of 
 responsibility where it belongs: on the Big Telecom corporations that are 
 pushing 5G for no other reason but profit.\nThough there are many reasons 
 to oppose 5g (including loss of privacy, increased energy use, and the fact 
 that wired systems will always be faster, more reliable, and less costly,) 
 \nour FOCUS tomorrow is children's safety because they are especially 
 vulnerable to 5G and other cell radiation exposures which can affect the 
 developing brain and increase risk of cancer.\n\nPoints organizers want us 
 to emphasize:\nScience proves that chronic exposure to wireless radiation 
 is harmful.\nChildren are more vulnerable to environmental exposures than 
 adults and they depend on us to protect them.\nFederal human exposure 
 guidelines are decades out of date and are only concerned with thermal 
 exposures.  \n5G will result in involuntary exposures for millions of 
 people – including our kids.\nThere is no scientific evidence that 5G is 
 safe.  \nThere are faster, more reliable, less costly alternatives! (cable 
 and fiber)\n(Pls do not bring hyperbolic signs that work against our 
 messaging.)\n\nA small action is fine on short notice, & the more the 
 merrier, so\npls fwd, post, and phone folks who are likely to be 
 interested.  \n\n\n
