DESCRIPTION:Sunday Morning at the Marxist Library\n\nUyghurs and Communists, Two
Views\n\nUyghurs live primarily in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of
the People’s Republic of China, also known as Chinese Turkistan, which.
along with Tibet, has seen considerable tension and unrest. We will have
two views of the situation, from David Makofsky, long time resident in
Beijing, Xinjiang, and Turkey and ICSS member Eugene Ruyle. We hope to have
ample time for questions and discussion of this complex and controversial
topic. ICSS member Raj Sahai will facilitate our discussion,.\nFor
preliminary background material, email cuyleruyle@mac.com\n\nSunday, April
21, 2019 – 10:30am-12:30pm\n6501 Telegraph Ave, Oakland (just North of
Alcatraz Ave.)\n\nSeating is limited, so plan to come early. We start
promptly.\nFREE - but hat will be passed for donations to NPML\n\nAbout
Sunday Morning at the Marxist Library\nA weekly discussion series inspired

for the past. \n\nFor info or to subscribe to our weekly announcements,
