 book:\n\nDeborah S. Rogers, author and activist on refugees and the US wars 
 that cause them, president of Initiative for Equity, a global network of 
 300 organizations working towards greater social, economic, and political 
 equality in over 90 countries.  \n\nAntonia Juhasz, award-winning 
 policy-analyst, author, and journalist,  covering oil and energy policy, 
 and the role of oil in conflict, particularly the US wars in Iraq and 
 Afghanistan, \n \nMichael Kroll, writer and activist specializing in the 
 American criminal justice system.  He was the first executive director of 
 the Death Penalty Information Center.\n\n “Follow the Money” is a 
 transcription of sixty-six interviews on KPFA’s Program “Flashpoints” 
 between program host Dennis Bernstein, and people like tonight's panelists 
 as well as Alice Walker; Phil Donahue; Ramsey Clark; Laura Flanders; Danny 
 Glover; Marjorie Cohn; Dolores Huerta; John Pilger; Helen Caldicott; Vijay 
 Prashad; Greg Palast; Brian Willson; Ali Abunimah; and Richard D. Wolff, 
 and has an introduction by Mumia Abu-Jamal. \n \nInterviews are grouped by 
 such themes as The New and Not so New Police State; The Class War; Domestic 
 Dissent; Black Lives; Church, State, Women, and the Criminalization of 
 Sexuality; Migration, Deportation, and US-Latino Culture; Global 
 Militarization and Empire; Ongoing Bloodshed in the Holy Land; and There is 
 No Plan(et) B. \n \nThe book has been described as an “encyclopedia of 
 resistance,” a “book of hope,” which illustrates how “the nation is 
 bursting with movements.” \n \nThis event is endorsed by the Gray 
 Panthers of San Francisco; Veterans for Peace, San Francisco; and Task 
 Force on the Americas of Marin County.\n
